Film Training Course - Write - Direct - Shoot

Get to the cinema on time with a little help from this world-class film making course designed by respected working professionals.

The Tutor: Andi Reiss is a film writer, producer and director. Despite a background in English, design and painting, he was drawn to cinema. Rarely distinguishing between the two, he now freelances as a writer/director and producer of drama and documentary. In addition he has directed, shot, edited and produced a number of music promos and commercials.

He is the director of the critically acclaimed refugee feature docu-drama "Cargo" (which he also produced), and the short films "Sleeper" and "Little Angels" amongst others. He is the director/producer of the documentaries " Special Delivery", "Empty Vessels" and "Killer Cure" (which he also produced). He has worked in many different mediums, and on a variety of formats from 35mm to HDV, and is employed as a cinematographer, editor and cartoonist as well as a writer, director and producer.

This course is both modern and practical and will benefit those with some experience and those of us who are new to filmmaking.

Master the concepts and proven techniques that will take you from an initial story idea to the final cut.

Shooting your film on location is on week 5 and is from 10am -6pm. Past students are most grateful for this whole day of shooting. Let the tutor know on week one if you think you may not be able to attend the shoot day. Editing begins on the same day at 6.30pm within the normal evening sessions.
