Compose a Film Score with Apple Logic

The first choice of many industry leading film composers including:

David Arnold (James Bond, Changing Lanes.)

Cliff Martinez (Traffic, Solaris, Wonderland.)

John Powell (The Bourne Identity/Supremacy, Antz, Chicken Run, Face Off, Speed)

Begin to explore the endlessly fascinating relationship between music and film.

No prior musical knowledge is necessary for this course, as Logic provides both a creative environment, and helpful tools for building musical scores and synchronizing them to film.

Using real footage, explore the influence of mood and tempo, and ways in which music can contribute to narrative structure.

Work in any style of music, get advice on musical techniques and theory .

This course is both great as an introduction to film composition, and for film makers wishing to score their own films.

It is also a fantastic way to learn how to use Logic for the Apple Mac. All participants will be offered their own work station using imacs that have a huge 20 inch screen.

Leave with a showreel of your work.
